Car Reservation
– You can reserve a car in advance by making a payment on our website, by phone, or by email. email.
Required Documents
– The renter must have a valid driver’s license and a valid ID card or a valid passport.
Payment and Deposits
– The security deposit when picking up a new car varies from $100 to $400, depending on the total value of the car. Payment for the car rental must be made by bank transfer before pickup or in cash at the time of pickup.
General Driver Requirements
– Minimum driving experience: two years.
Additional Driver
– The rented car may only be driven by the driver specified in the acceptance-transfer agreement. An additional driver is subject to an extra charge of $3/day.
Car Insurance
– All cars are covered by third-party liability insurance.
– Insurance with a $0 deductible is available, in which case the rental price is recalculated. In the event of any traffic accident or damage to the car, you must report it within one day; otherwise, the insurance becomes void.
– A $200 fine applies for lost car keys or documents. Car documents and keys are not insured. Car insurance is not valid if the vehicle is used off-road, in sports competitions, for driving lessons, etc.
– If a car is chosen without collision damage waiver (CDW) insurance, the renter is liable for all damages in the event of an accident. In the event of a total loss, 100% of the car’s average market value must be covered.
Renter’s Liability in Case of Theft or Accident
– In the event of a car accident (if the renter is at fault) or theft, the renter’s liability is to compensate for the car’s value based on the average market price (unless additional insurance was purchased). In the event of car theft, the renter must return the keys and documents of the rented car.
Mileage and Permitted Countries
– When renting a car within Lithuania, mileage is unlimited if the CDW insurance service is ordered. Without CDW insurance, mileage is limited to 200 km/day. Driving outside of Lithuania is only permitted when renting a car with CDW insurance.
Technical Assistance
– Free 24/7 roadside assistance is available for cars throughout Europe.
Fuel
– Cars are rented with a full tank of fuel. If the car is returned with a less than full tank, the renter shall pay for the missing fuel according to the rate specified in the contract.
No-Show After Reservation
– When a customer who has paid a reservation fee (deposit) fails to pick up the car or cancels the reservation, the money is non-refundable.
Returning the Car
– In case of a late return without prior agreement, a late fee of $20/hour will be charged. A delay of more than 2 hours will result in an additional $50 fee.
– By prior agreement, the following services can be provided outside of business hours:
– Car pickup or return outside of business hours. An additional fee applies for this service.
Unforeseen Circumstances
– In the event of unforeseen circumstances (due to technical failure or a traffic accident), we reserve the right to cancel the car reservation after informing the customer in advance.
